Is it the fact that so many people are busy with schedules? On a form of anti-depresant that dulls all emotion? Is it the fact that they have just given up and do not care that our country is in sad shape?
In 1970 I graduated from high school with dreams. I was a simple person with simple desires, that no American go to bed hungry, cold or homeless. I had dreams of America being the greatest nation in space, and earth.I was realistic then that we could not always help other nations when our country and people needed help first. It has been years since America has put themselves first.
There always seems to be a country that needs us, the story is quite familliar: Help my people are starving, my bridges and roads are broke,your rich country can help everyone at all times you are rich. So like some used and abused nation that we are put pride first and go into debt to help other countries. We let our government pay non citizens money thru food stamps, low income housing, welfare, free education for their children that they snuck over with them thru not so leagal means. We let our governemnt get over charged by companies for everything from toilets to muffins, I mean EVERY little item from paper clips to floor wax. When are we going to make it known we want a CONgress to have some backbone to say NO to all the waste and IMEDIATELY get to work on fixing what the last 40 some years of damage has been done. We can not fix our mess by standing down on any subject that means to do ANY damage to OUR country. WE are AMERICANS, from all differant backgrounds, which have PROUDLY learned to speak English and be AMERICAN> They have their celebrations to stay connected to heritage but do NOT push it on the majority of AMERICANs.
I have never wanted nor do I ever plan to speak or understand another language. If a person comes to this country they should learn like our ancestors did to speak American, fly the American flag as the only flag they pledge allegiance, obey our laws or leave..not get put into jail or prison. If they enter with out proper channels put them back out the cheapest and easiest way, by the border they came in. We as tax payers are sick and tired of spending our hard earned money on every Tom Dick and Harry. It is time and of National Importance that we wake up and be good to our selves. Do not let CONgress get away with the blatant waste, and degrading anylonger.
I pledge to give NO MONEY of mine to someone who wastes it. I pledge to give no money to someone who does not work for me and my fellow Americans. I pledge to no longer keep quiet about the lack of job my CONgress people are doing and the smear job they try to pin on our Presidents. Our President may not be the best political player, but he is our leader and that in itself is call for respect. He seems to be trying, but Republicans have fought him from before day one. When there is a Republican in the Democrats try to undermine them, so it is CONgress that needs to GO GO GO AWAY. You can do that for them, no campaign fund..are you not tiered of all the circles they talk on commercials, have you not tiered of all the begging for funds to run their campaigns. Why should we spend our money to get the run around? It is time AMERICA PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN AND THROW A FIT! AMERICANS WANT AMERICA BACK. WE WANT A HOUSE TO DREAM FOR, A MAILMAN THAT IS DELIVERING MAIL NOT SPAM. AMERICANS NEED ONLY SPEAK AMERICAN, ALL AMERICAN COMPANIES NEED TO SAVE US TIME, BY TAKING OFF THE SPANISH CHOICES ON THE AUTOMATED SERVICES. GO TO SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES THAT YOU DO BUSINESS WITH. IF AMERICAN COMPANIES DO BUSINESS IN AMERICA THEIR HEAD QUARTERS SHOULD BE HERE, ALONG WITH THEIR TAX DOLLARS. IF COMPANIES WANT TO DO BUSINESS IN OTHER COUNTRIES KEEP THAT OVER THERE. IF YOU LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN TRY TO SUPPORT YOUR SMALL BUSINESS'S, THE PRICES MAY BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER BUT THE MORE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT THEM, THE BUSINESS CAN AFFORD TO LOWER THE PRICES.
If you are an
American do all you can do to put your ceighborhood, city, county, country first. I know I am, starting now! if you can remember the time when neighbors new each other, that is how America got to be so strong, we knew one another, we worked together, we talked, we helped each other out. NO American should be waking up in a car and going to school, or work.
